Madeline A

Madeline Armit is a Brisbane-based actor and theatre-maker with experience across screen, theatre, and physical performance. Her screen work includes feature films, short films, commercials, and music videos, spanning drama, comedy, and genre-based projects.

She has an extensive theatre background across classical, contemporary, devised, cabaret, clown, and physical theatre. Madeline is a co-creator and performer with The Sh*t Stirrers and Handlight, developing original works presented at festivals, independent venues, and site-specific locations, including two time Matilda Nominated Hot Girls Don't Poo.

Trained in embodied acting, clown, improvisation, and physical theatre, Madeline brings strong physical awareness, comedic instinct, and character-driven performance to her work. She has also undertaken professional extras work on screen productions, gaining experience on-set in large-scale production environments.
